I took a look at your comic, and the colors don't look that bad.
But if you're unhappy with them, maybe you should try and add texture to the colors.

I love the wardrobe you pick for that catgirl. The Japanese sword is another sexy touch.

Swords don't run out of bullets, and not everybody who has a gun can use it effectively. Being skilled in a more basic weapon is an important survival tool, especially in how dangerous this world can be.
